A gastronomic afternoon in the country where you can have a starring role
On Sunday June 27, 2010, from 1 to 4 pm, be part of a unique fundraiser, whose proceeds will go to
help feed underprivileged children in Quebec.
Nine great chefs of the Montreal area will leave their city stoves behind and cook al fresco at
La Maison de Campagne in Saint-Michel de Napierville. This charming old farm is located on
the South Shore, easily reached from Montreal within 30 minutes.
While you wander in a truly bucolic scenery from food station to food station, savoring each chef’s
signature dish, award winning photographer Anton Fercher will create his signature piece de resistance,
a photo shoot in a relaxed, natural setting, where you will be a star without having to strike a pose. But
if you are inclined to take center stage with one of the chefs, both he and the photographer will gladly oblige.
Before leaving the venue, you will receive Anton’s novelty business card in the form of a memory stick,
containing all the pictures taken during the afternoon. This kind of visual doggie bag will let you enjoy
over and over again this Sunday in the country sponsored by the chefs and Chapeau Canada for a real
worthy cause.
